Mr. WAKEFIELDasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that there are still a number of tramcar and omnibus stopping places 1415 close to pedestrian crossings which obstruct the view of drivers of vehicles. overtaking stationary omnibuses and tramcars; and will he take steps to have such stopping places moved to a suitable distance so that people using pedestrian crossings can be easily visible?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe attention of highway authorities has been called to this matter, but if my hon. Friend has still in mind any particular case and will send me details, I shall be glad to have inquiries made.
