Mr. STANLEYIn January last the Board issued a circular on physical education, in which they expressed the hope that the authorities would survey the needs of their areas for playing fields and facilities for physical training and organised games. The authorities are showing great interest in the circular, but I think my hon. Friend will agree with me that this matter is not one which can be dealt with by means of a survey, subject to a time limit.
