§ Mr. W. S. MORRISONThe cost to public funds of the criminal proceedings amounted to £1,366, of which £866 is recoverable from the county authority. In addition a small sum for witnesses' attendances was paid directly by the police court authorities and the authorities of the Central Criminal Court.
