§ 9. Mr. DAGGARasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that a letter was addressed by the divisional commissioner of Meerut recently to chairmen of municipal authorities, asking them to inform their educational staff that school-children should be afforded the opportunity of seeing the troops when they arrive in a locality; and whether this letter had the sanction of the Government?
