§ Viscount CRANBORNEThe duties of Sir Alexander Cadogan when he takes up his appointment as Deputy Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs will not be confined to the treatment of Far Eastern questions, but advantage will naturally be taken of the experience which he has gained during the two years which he has spent as His Majesty's Representative in China.
