§ Sir P. SASSOONThe largest type now operated is the "Scipio," the largest under construction the "Empire," both being four-engined aircraft. The maximum total weights authorised are 32,500 lbs. and approximately 39,000 lbs. respectively. Loading and range vary according to the operating circumstances.
