asked the President of the Board of Trade the number of tons of scrap-iron that has been exported from this country for the year ended 1935 to the nearest available date; to what countries it was exported and the price per ton received?

During the year 1935, 168,000 tons of iron and steel scrap and waste were exported from this country. I am circulating in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement which gives the other information desired by the hon. Member.
