I beg to move, in page 53, line 23, after "Schedule B," to insert "by reference to annual value."

Would the Minister be good enough to explain to us why this Amendment is necessary?

Mr. ELLIOT

The Amendment is purely a drafting Amendment, in order to make the machinery for certification applicable to market gardens. These are assessed under Schedule B, but not by reference to annual value. They come under paragraph 2 (c) of the Schedule, and clearly they ought to be excluded from paragraph (a)
