§ Sir T. INSKIPThe answer is in the negative as regards State aeroplane factories. As regards armament factories, plans have been approved for the transfer of the Royal Filling Factory at Woolwich and the Cordite Factory at Waltham and the question whether certain State explosives factories will not also be requisite is under consideration.
§ Sir JOHN HASLAMIs my right hon. Friend aware that there are innumerable factories in Lancashire almost ready equipped for this kind of work, and skilled artisans living in the neighbourhood to do the work that is necessary, if arrangements can be made?
§ Sir T. INSKIPI am aware of that fact, and that is why the matter requires special attention.
