§ 9. Mr. A. HENDERSONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in the view of His Majesty's Government, Egypt is entitled to apply for membership of the League of Nations; and whether His Majesty's 1402 Government are in favour of the admission of Egypt to membership of the League?
§ Mr. EDENI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by the Prime Minister to the hon. Member for West Fife (Mr. Gallacher) on 11th December last, to which I have nothing to add.
