HC Deb 17 June 1936 vol 313 c980
34. Sir ASSHETON POWNALL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether the Air Ministry has under consideration any scheme by which officers of the Royal Air Force can be given the opportunity of insurance on advantageous terms?

Sir P. SASSOON

This matter is periodically reviewed by the Life Offices Association, acting for the insurance companies, in consultation with the Air Ministry, and material reductions have been made by the companies in premiums covering flying risk. A further such review is now in progress.
