§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe only vessels chartered by the Board of Trade for other Departments are for the Defence Departments and the India Office. For these charterings no commission is charged or paid, but the cost of the services rendered by the Board of Trade in connection with these services is recovered from the Departments concerned.
