§ Mr. ELLIOTI am in close touch with agricultural opinion on the subject referred to, concerning which I have already 625 received a number of representations. No formal invitations on the lines indicated by my hon. and gallant Friend have, however, been issued, nor, I am afraid, could I adopt the suggestion. If any representatives of agricultural interests send me their observations I shall, as always, be glad to give them consideration.
