§ Sir K. WOODUp to 31st March, 1936, 54 local authorities in England and Wales had given guarantees under Section 2 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1933, in respect of 10,107 houses.
Mr. ADAMSCan the Minister give the reason why this Act, introduced by his predecessor, has so lamentably failed to produce any considerable number of working-class houses?
