asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Middlesex public health committee have accepted a tender amounting to £120,087 for modernising the Chase farm-schools; and how many inmates will be accommodated in the schools when they are modernised?

I understand that the tender referred to has been withdrawn and that the county council have provisionally accepted a tender of £127,625. The reconstructed premises will be used for the accommodation of 418 adult persons.
