HC Deb 10 June 1936 vol 313 cc356-7
The ATTORNEY-GENERAL

I beg to move, in page 47, line 32, column 3, at the end, to add: except as regards any order submitted under Section two to the appropriate Minister before the date of the passing of this Act. The object of the Amendment is merely to secure that, in respect of applications for orders which have already been made under the Public Works Facilities Act to acquire land for aerodromes, the steps which have been taken shall not be rendered useless, but that it will be pos- sible to maintain the stage which they have reached and continue under the new procedure. If the Amendment were not inserted, it would be necessary to start the work all over again.
