asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will state the beet-sugar factories which have installed a plant to prevent pollution, of rivers?

Mr. ELLIOT

I understand that practically all the beet-sugar factories have some form of plant for the purification of effluent with a view to the prevention of pollution. If the hon. Member desires further information in regard to particular factories and will let me know, I will do my best to supply it.
