§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe records of railway accidents are compiled for yearly periods, and will be found in the annual reports of the Chief Inspecting Officer of Railways. The accident at Preston on 11th March was the subject of an official inquiry by one of my officers, and his report and recommendations have been referred to the railway companies.
