§ Mr. RUNCIMANI am aware of the increase in the imports of rubber footwear from Canada. I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that the interests of the United Kingdom boot and shoe industries are being kept in mind during the present trade discussions with the Canadian Government.
§ Mr. SHINWELLDoes not this indicate that the provisions of the Ottawa Agreements are in many respects defective?
