§ Mr. EDENNo correspondence has taken place with the Portuguese Government on this question, but representatives of that Government have on various occasions referred to reports in circulation regarding transfers of colonial territories, and made clear their own attitude towards any suggestion for the surrender of Portuguese colonial territory in Africa.
