HC Deb 15 July 1936 vol 314 cc2037-8
48. Lieut. - Commander FLETCHER

asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence what proportion of the time of his office is taken up by consideration of questions of supply and what proportion by consideration of large questions of strategy?

Sir T. INSKIP

The questions are often inseparable, and I could not allocate or contemplate an allocation of my time between them.

Lieut.-Commander FLETCHER

In view of the fact that the right hon. Gentleman's appointment was mainly in connection with strategic questions, is not his time being unduly overburdened with questions of supplies?

Sir T. INSKIP

I carry out my duties to the best of my ability in this and other matters.
