HC Deb 15 July 1936 vol 314 cc2053-4
Mr. ATTLEE

May I ask what the business will be on Friday?

Sir J. SIMON

On Friday, after the Second Reading of the Cattle Industry Bill, we hope that there will be time to consider the Sea-Fishing Industry (Regulation of Landing) Orders, which are on the Paper.

Mr. GARRO JONES

Can the right hon. Gentleman give an assurance that unless there is a substantial amount of time for the consideration of these Sea-Fishing Orders, which involve the whole question of the Sea-Fishing report, which has never yet been discussed, he will not attempt to take them on Friday afternoon after, say, half-past one?

Sir J. SIMON

I cannot fix a time for it. We shall have to see how we get on. I said that I hoped there would be time.
