HC Deb 13 July 1936 vol 314 c1654
33. Sir FRANCIS FREMANTLE

asked the Minister of Pensions, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he will be in a position to submit proposals for the reorganisation of the refreshment rooms and lavatories in the Palace of Westminster before the Summer Recess?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Mr. R. S. Hudson)

(for the First Commissioner of Works): The question of the reorganisation of the refreshment rooms and lavatories in the Palace of Westminster was remitted to a Joint Select Committee of the two Houses which has not yet reported.

Sir F. FREMANTLE

Can the right hon. Member say what are the prospects of it getting to work; do they ever meet?

Mr. HUDSON

I understand that they met sometime in March.
