HC Deb 09 July 1936 vol 314 c1380
28. Mr. EDE

asked the President of the Board of Education, what steps he proposes to take to ensure that there shall be an adequate supply of fully qualified and trained handicraft and domestic subjects teachers by the appointed day for the raising of the school-leaving age under the Education Bill?

Mr. STANLEY

I propose to take an early opportunity of discussing this matter with the local education authorities when the Education Bill has become law.
