§ Mr. EDENI would refer the hon. Members to the reply given to a similar question on Wednesday last. I do not think that it would be appropriate to raise this individual question separately with the German Government at this 831 moment, when it is still the earnest hope of His Majesty's Government that it may be possible with the other Powers concerned to enter into general negotiations with Germany.
§ Mr. HENDERSONIs the right hon. Gentleman satisfied that the German Government are doing their best gradually to calm the tension in Europe, as indicated in their note to the Locarno Powers received on 31st March?
