§ Sir J. SIMONI regret that I cannot give this information. Figures are published in the annual volume of Criminal Statistics showing the number of offenders in the age groups 14 to 16, 16 to 21, and 21 to 30, but there are no figures showing how many were unemployed at the time the offences were committed. I am sending the hon. Member the figures in the Criminal Statistics for 1934—which are the latest figures available.
