HC Deb 27 February 1936 vol 309 cc614-5
2. Mr. HOPKIN

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will consider the advisability of constituting Wales as a separate region of the Unemployment. Assistance Board?

Mr. E. BROWN

The board's organisation provides for a regional officer for Wales with an office at Cardiff. It has been found convenient and economical, however, to extend his jurisdiction to cover certain adjoining English districts.
