§ Captain WALLACEI have been asked to reply. The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the second part, so far, 24 grants totalling £64,413 10s. have been made from district funds for the erection of aged miners' homes or for endowment to provide for maintenance of such homes. I am sending the hon. Member a detailed statement.
