§ Sir K. WOODLocal authorities are empowered to publish the information referred to by my hon. Friend, and I have in circulars and on other occasions stressed the necessity of their making full use of these powers. I have no reason to suppose that in any area for which the appointed day is 1st January next, the local authority have failed to give adequate information to the public.
