asked the President of the Board of Trade (1) what proportion of total world oceangoing tonnage was registered in the United Kingdom in August, 1914, 1919, 1930, and in each succeeding year to the present;

(2) what proportion of total world tramp tonnage was British-owned in August, 1914, 1919, 1930, and in each succeeding year to the present?
