Captain CROOKS, HANKSince 1st August, 1936, a scheme for the organised sale of coal for export as well as for in- 2273 land consumption has been in operation in each coal-mining district. The function of the Central Council of Colliery Owners with regard to the schemes is one of co-ordination of policy and not the establishment of a central system for selling coal for export.
