Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider the Procedure on Private Bills containing clauses commonly known as 'Local Legislation' clauses, and the respective functions of the Chairman of Ways and Means and the Committee of Selection (other than selection of Members to serve on Committees) in relation to Private Bills; and to report whether any alteration in such Procedure or any rearrangement of such functions is desirable.

Ordered, That the Committee do consist of Seven Members.

Committee nominated of Mr. Cape, Mr. Groom-Johnson, Mr. Ernest Evans, Sir Joseph Nall, Sir Hugh O'Niell, Mr. Tinker, and Mr. H. G. Williams.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers, and records.
