47. Major MILLSasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, when reviewing next year block grants to county councils, he will consider abolishing Male Servant Licence Duty in such a way that the loss will not fall on the county councils?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINAs I stated in a reply yesterday to my hon. Friend the Member for Hitchin (Sir A. Wilson) this matter has already been noted as one of the subjects for examination in connection with the revision of the block grant.
