Mr. MATHERSasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will give, for the latest convenient year, the names of the county councils which are exercising their powers under Section 17 and Schedule 4 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1929, and the amount each council spends, respectively, on travelling expenses, personal expenses, and time ordinarily lost from ordinary employment?
