48. Miss WARDasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the House will be given an opportunity of discussing the financial proposals of the North Atlantic Shipping Act before the Government agree to the Cunard-White Star Line taking advantage of the provisions contained in the Bill?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe financial provisions of the North Atlantic Shipping Act have already been discussed before the Act was passed into law, and I do not think it would be possible to give special facilities for repeating that discussion.
