§ Mr. H0RE-BELISHANo recent representations have been made to me with regard to the freeing of Whitchurch Bridge from tolls. There are five toll-bridges over the Thames and a total of 77 toll-bridges on roads in Great Britain. I am prepared to consider applications by the responsible highway authorities for grants towards the elimination of tollbridges.
