asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what amount of money was transferred last year by the education authorities in Scotland to other education authorities in respect of charges under Section 10 of the Act of 1918; and whether he will give the amounts so paid by each authority?

The total payment in the year 1934–35 under Section 10 of the Act of 1918 was £19,688. With the right hon. Gentleman's permission I will circulate the details of the payment in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
