asked the Prime Minister whether he will consider the appointing of a Royal Commission to investigate the co-ordination and simplification of British weights and measures and the possibility of introducing the decimal system both in this direction and in the currency?

I have no evidence of a widespread demand for change on the part of the business community such as would justify the setting-up of an inquiry into the matters referred to by my hon. Friend.
