§ Captain EUAN WALLACE (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)His Majesty's Government will not be participating officially at this exhibition, but the Department of Overseas Trade will be glad to answer inquiries and give all relevant information in its possession regarding the exhibition to United Kingdom firms contemplating participation.
§ Mr. LYONSCan the Minister tell me whether any department has been established in England so that British industry can co-operate with a view to getting spaces at this Exhibition?
§ Captain WALLACEThat is implicit in the last part of my answer. If anyone wishes to take space at the Exhibition and will come to the Department of Overseas Trade, we can tell him something about it.
§ Mr. LYONSDoes that mean that there is no attempt made by the Department to co-operate with British industry by establishing in this country a special bureau for this purpose?
§ Captain WALLACEThat is not a matter for the Department of Overseas Trade. If the people who are running this Exhibition want to establish a bureau here, they can do so.
