§ Viscount CRANBORNEI presume my hon. Friend has in mind the Opium Advisory Committee of the League of Nations, which, so far as my right hon. Friend is aware, has made no formal recommendations to the Chinese Government. His Majesty's Government receive from time to time reports from His Majesty's Ambassador in China on the situation in regard to narcotics in that country and the measures taken by the Chinese Government in respect of it.
