HC Deb 06 April 1936 vol 310 c2407
37. Mr. MALCOLM MacMILLAN

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will investigate the present inadequate postal service to the Outer Hebrides and take steps to have it improved at the earliest opportunity?

Sir W. WOMERSLEY

All available services to the Outer Hebrides are at present used for the conveyance of mails, and in the circumstances I see no possibility of improving the postal services at present.
