asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is now in a position to state what percentage of British bacon is tank cured?

Mr. ELLIOT

The Bacon Marketing Board have no information as to the proportion of tank-cured bacon to total output. Replies to a questionnaire issued by the board last year to registered curers indicate, however, that the tank curing capacity of the bacon factories in Great Britain has more than doubled since 1931.
