HC Deb 01 April 1936 vol 310 c1978
17. Mr. MATHERS

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether the property, including workshops and other buildings, at Port Edgar, South Queensferry, is still available for sale for commercial purposes; and, if so, what conditions are imposed by the Admiralty upon any purchaser?

The CIVIL LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Kenneth Lindsay)

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, as the Admiralty propose to retain the property for Naval purposes. The second part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
