asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that I. Z. Koltun, a Jewish writer, is being held in prison in Jerusalem; that no charge has been made against him; that he is suffering from ill-health and that his illness is being aggravated by the prison conditions; and will he take steps to secure his liberation?
