The estimated con tribution by the Burgh of Dumbarton to the Unemployment Assistance Fund under Part II of the Unemployment Act, 1934, is £6, 200 per annum, but, after taking into account the block grant appropriate to the transferred expenditure, the net charge to the local authority is£2, 492, which is equivalent to a rate of 4½d.per The estimated contribution to be made by the City of Oxford is£200.
