HC Deb 21 May 1935 vol 302 c181
22. Captain CUNNINGHAM-REID

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will indicate to the London Passenger Transport Board that the convenience of the public would best be served, when omnibus stops are changed, by the display of some form of notice at the previous omnibus stop?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of TRANSPORT (Captain Austin Hudson)

At points where stopping place notices are erected, alterations are indicated by notices fixed to existing posts. At points where no signs are provided the board, so far as possible, arrange for representatives to be stationed at the old stopping places to advise the public of the changes made.
