For example, the usually accepted figures for the consumption of liquid milk in Great Britain are those given in the report of the Reorganisation Commission for Milk, which covers one of the most recent examinations of consumption of a staple foodstuff. The information available in respect of the consumption of this commodity in foreign countries relates to different years.
