§ Mr. A. SOMERVILLEThis is one of the Clauses to which exception was taken by the Princes in their note to the Viceroy. I should like to know whether these Amendments are designed in any degree to meet the objections that were raised.
§ Sir S. HOAREA number of points raised by the Princes on Clause 124 were raised through misunderstandings, and it is a fact that the redrafting of the Clause, and it is nothing more than a redrafting, will go towards explaining some of the misunderstandings that had obviously arisen.
