(by Private Notice) asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has any statement to make with regard to the reported disturbances in South Wales?

I regret that I am not at present in a, position to make any statement about these disturbances, but I am obtaining a full report from the chief constable of Monmouthshire and, if the hon. Member will put down a question for next week, I shall be glad to give full information to the House as to the facts.
