asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Brewers' Society have acceded to his request for information as to the purchase of British barley by brewers in the years June, 1932, to June, 1933, and June, 1933, to June, 1934, respectively?

I am informed that the Brewers' Society have circularised brewers with a view to obtaining the necessary particulars; but that some short time must elapse before the results of these inquiries are known.

Can the right hon. Gentleman give any idea when he hopes to have the information?
